CME
The CME® Foundation (“the Foundation”) was founded in 2001 with a $1 million contribution from CME to aid those affected by the September 11, 2001 tragedies. The scope of the Foundation’s charitable giving includes disaster relief, as well as meeting the needs of the Chicago community in which we live and do business. The Foundation seeks to provide particular support to children in need, education and health and human services.
The Foundation is fortunate to be aided in these endeavors by members of the CME Exchange community – shareholders, members, member firm personnel and CME staff – who want to participate in the Exchange's charitable giving. Thanks to their assistance, CME is able to make a lasting impact in its community and nationwide.
